I guess most of us women would like to wear beautiful clothes, have our hair 'just so', and leave behind a lingering sweet fragrance as we walk by. Most of us have a desire to improve how we look and feel.
Your idea of looking good is probably very different from mine, but I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't in some way wish she could change a physical aspect about herself.
Confession, I have a lot of doubts about my appearance, esepcially as my weight is increasing and my 'fittable' wardrobe selection has dwindled to three comfortable outfits...but that can change with time.
Something that doesn't take time to change our appearance, something free and instantaneous, something that lights up the atmosphere and hearts of others around us, is a SMILE.
When my children were growing up I taught them to smile as they walked passed people in the street, to smile at the checkout girl as she handed them our groceries, and to smile at each new day because it's a fresh unwrapped gift from God.
Today, look in the mirror and smile at *you*.
You're beautiful, beyond what the world calls beauty. You're beautiful inside and out, just as you are.
Smile, lovely gal. Brighten your heart, and share it with others.
