Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose sought help from Nigerians to prevent governors from taking loans out of their mandates.
He had a debt of more than N70 billion at the time he assumed office, he wrote, that the state serves with a billion naira monthly.
He added that he owed 4 months of salary to employees, as salaries paid in July were paid on Friday.
