The Heart of God

Hi everyone,

I read this beautiful quote today and I just wanted to share it. 

'God has identified himself with the hungry, the sick, the naked,

the homeless; 

hunger, not only for bread,

but for love, for care, to be somebody to someone:

nakedness, not of clothing only,

but nakedness of that compassion

that very few people give to the unknown;

homelessness, not only just from a shelter made of stone,

but that homelessness that comes from from having

no one to call your own'.

I've always had a lot of love and respect for Mother Theresa.

No I am not a Catholic, just a follower of Christ. 

I loved her heart, her living faith and wondrous compassion and mercy. 

She still continues to inspire me. Anyone does with a heart like that.

I felt she gave people a precious gift. When she would touch them physically, even lepers, 

they felt loved and in that moment she gave them back their dignity.
