When I picked up this Charlton comic in 1957 I had seen Ditko's artwork, but not filling out a whole comic book. I was hooked on his moody panels and design of a comic book page. I didn't think that way, then, though. I was just a kid. I just thought, "This is cool!" Even if the stories are not challenging intellectually they allowed Ditko to show his effortless handling of different subject matter. I became a lifelong Ditko fan after reading this issue.
